Oak Class' trip to Swanage - 2017

Monday 13th November 2017

Everyone left school bright and early and excited for the week ahead.  The coach arrived safely in Swanage just before lunchtime and they got to work unpacking and having lunch.  Despite it being Novemeber, the weather is good down there, so they hit the beach.  Take a look at the beautiful photos of the sunset!

A great morning was had by all at Putlake Farm today.  As you can see, this is a real 'hands on' farm where the children can get up close and personal with a range of animals.  They then went back to the centre for lunch and then tried their hand a survival challenge!  You'll be pleased to know, that they all surveved and made it back to their rooms for some well deserved down time.

The middle of the week has arrived!  They have spent the day having a long, but beautiful walk to Corfe Castle.  They were also lucky enough to see the practice launch of the lifeboat which is based in Swanage Bay.  They finished off the day with a late night feast of chips on the seafront.  Lovely!

A hot cup of tea and a biscuit was well and truly deserved after today!  A visit to Durleston Beach, shopping, disco and a circle time and finally, packing to come home!  What a busy day.

Friday 17th November 2017

Well, Oak Class are now homeward bound.  They are on the coach with some great memories to share with you all.  A bath, a scrummy dinner and an early night are probably what's in order!
