It is with great sadness that I must report that Mrs Pickman (nee King) died in the middle of Febuary 2004, she was in her 90's
This is following the death of Mrs Doris Field, who died in December 2003. They were both at the school when it opened back in 1952, and they stayed at the school for over 20 years each, both retiring in the 1970's.
